MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE
Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to a super relaxing weekend - working out tomorrow morning and doing a little spring cleaning of the apartment, then packing and preparing for LA next week!
I've been wanting to do a post on my everyday makeup for awhile now and I'm finally getting around to it! My everyday makeup is pretty simple. Let me know your thoughts/suggestions/questions in the comments below!
I mentioned this one in my February Favorites post - I discovered it more recently and I love how well it stops my face from getting oily mid-day. It keeps my makeup in place for 8+ hours.
This foundation is my absolute favorite that I've ever used and I've tried A LOT. I used to use Estee Lauder Double Wear for years and I do like it but I felt like it clogged my pores too much. I've heard a lot of people say the Kat Von D foundation is too heavy or feels cake-like, but I definitely don't feel like it does. It has great coverage and stays put all day.
I just started using this recently because I loved my foundation so much and I really like the coverage it provides under my eyes.
I use this one under my eyes to set my concealer and brighten up my dark circles.
I use this one to set my foundation before adding a layer of colored powder.
I've used this one for years and I really like the additional layer of coverage it gives and it really finishes off my makeup.
Bronzer + Highlighter:
I love this contour kit for everyday bronzer. I have the light to medium color palette and I use the middle bronzer. For a subtle look, I use this highlighter.
Just got this limited edition highlighter by Amrezy for my birthday in April & I'm obsessed. I use it most days, especially when I'm going for a little more of a glowy look than the Contour Kit highlighters give me.
This is a newer version of the Anastasia brow pens - it has a triangular tip which is PERFECT for outlining and filling in brows. The spooley end is perfect for blending it in. I use the Soft Brown color.
Just started using this recently & LOVE it. TIP: I'm careful to do my brows before my foundation/face because the powder can make a mess.
This mascara is literally a Godsend. If I don't put anything else on my eyes, I make sure I use this.
I'm going to do a separate post with all of my go-to lipsticks for Spring/Summer! Stay tuned... :)
